The whitelist has arrived!

CommerceBlock is required to carry out AML checks and KYC in order to comply with regulators. Our AML partners are Coinfirm and will be providing the necessary Bitcoin and Ethereum address verification that is required in order for us to accept contributions.

Signing up to the whitelist requires a Bitcoin or Ethereum address and we recommend that you do not send from an exchange (e.g. Coinbase, Poloniex or Bittrex). This will help avoid any potential refund issues. Some recommended wallets are:

Bitcoin (BTC) — Bitcoin-qt, Jaxx, Bitcoin Core, Electrum

Ethereum (ETH) — MyEtherWallet, MetaMask, Jaxx, Parity, Mist, imToken

Instructions

Step 1. Navigate to whitelist.commerceblock.com

Step 2. Enter the Bitcoin or Ethereum address that you will be sending the contribution from. Please ensure you the address is from a wallet that you own the keys for. We recommended that you do not send from an exchange.

Bitcoin Electrum Wallets — if new to Electrum and no wallet current installed, download here and follow the instructions below to import your 12 word seed. Please ensure this is kept as securely as physically possible during transfer and backup!!!

Once you have created a new wallet or restored from your seed/private key, go to the Addresses tab and pick an address that will be your sending address, and label where possible to help remember. During the token sale, when sending your contribution you must right click the whitelisted address and ‘Send From’ to ensure the address you have whitelisted is the address sending the funds. Failure to do this may result in a refund.

Step 3. Enter your expected contribution amount as USD. Please note that the minimum contribution is 300 USD. For contributions of more than 11,500 USD (15,000 EUR regulatory threshold with room for volatility) an additional checkbox will appear requesting that you confirm KYC requirements

Step 4. Tick the checkbox to confirm that you are not a citizen of the United States of America, The Republic of Singapore or The People’s Republic of China.

Step 5. Click Submit Address to submit the information for verification

Step 5. Wait patiently as the whitelisting service may take up to 24 hours to verify the address. After 24 hours return to whitelist.commerceblock.com and repeat steps 1–5.

Address Approved — Congratulations

If the address has been approved and you are contributing less than 11,500 USD there is no further action required. For contributions above 11,500 USD we require you to submit KYC documentation. A simple KYC form is provided and can be accessed via the link on the whitelist approval screen. Unfortunately if KYC has not been completed and your donation exceeds the threshold we will have to refund the full amount. Any questions Twitter.

KYC Form

CommerceBlock is legally required to carry out KYC on all contributions of more than 11,500 USD in order to comply with regulation. Please populate the form provided and include a clear photo or scan of your passport to show the pages that include your picture, name and passport number.

Great success!

No further action is required until the token sale, but you will need to use the same address to participate.

Address Rejected — Don’t Panic!

If the address has been rejected please do not worry! This could be due to a number of reasons and the SWAT team won’t burst through your window 😊. The best option is to try another address that you own the keys for and resubmit. For continued issues please contact us via the Telegram group where we will do our utmost to help.
